בית ירח השוכן לגדות הכנרת הוא בית ספר תיכון מיוחד במינו, בית הספר בנוי כקיבוץ כיתות כיתות מפוזרות במבנים חמודים לכל כיתה גינת ירק, ודשא מסביב הכנרת מחוברת לבית הספר ומסביב אוירה טובה של לימודים ועשיה. בית הספר הוקם לפני עשרות שנים התלמדים נהנים ממערך פדגוגי מעולה בתי שלמדה שם פשוט אהבה את הלימודים והגיעה לבית הספר באהבה לא אחת היא מזכירה לי את בית הספר ואת הרצון שלה לחזור למקום, גם העובדים שלי למדו בבית הספר והם ממש נהנים לחזור לשם ולפתח מערכות תקשורת מתקדמות בבית הספר.

הפרויקט שאותו יזמה העמותה בעמק כלל בתוכו שדרוג תשתיות אינטרנט לסיב אופטי וחיבור כל הכיתות לרשת מהירה. הפרויקט כלל בתוכו תשתיות פסביות ואקטביות כולל הכנות לרשת WIFI מתקדמת החלפת מתגים ורישות הכיתות בסיב. תכנון הרשת בוצע על ידי חברתנו בשיתוף עם תלמדים ומורים ובכך הצלחנו לשפר ולשדרג את רשת המחשבים לרמה גבוהה מאד תוך צמצום עלויות והפעלת גישה מהירה לאלפי משתמשים.

בימנו כאשר דור הY מגדל את ילדיו עלינו לתת את הדעת לצרכים המיידים של התלמדים, לתת להם מערכות טכנולוגיות לפחות כמו בבית ואפילו יותר, לאפשר להם תקשורת טובה ומהירה, ולשתף אותם בפרויקט ובתכנון , ואת כל זה השגנו בעזרת עבודה משותפת עם רפי המורה למחשבים רון ואיתי תותחי מיחשוב בכיתה יא ….. ועובדי החברה.
